Water Channel - Levada

Leaving Funchal we start this 5 hours customized shore excursion tour. Our customers were on Sun Princess (cruise ship) and being the first time on the Island they would like to explore some Laurissilva Forest - UNESCO World Heritage Then we drove to the northeast and explored this fantastic off-road and the customers had the courage to cross this tunnel with a water channel (Levada) as many of our ancestors used in some areas as a shortcut to pass from on side of the mountain to the other and they loved it.

Madeira is a garden

Calla Lily - "Zantedeschia aethiopica"

enter image description here

The Madeiran people are proud to live in this paradise so it is very common to see various types of flowers around their houses in pots or gardens, but because Madeira is a garden these flowers also grow naturally in our mountains up to an altitude of 800 meters. At the end of September and beginning of October we started to see these beautiful flowers blooming in our forests.

Off-Road - We like it and we do it!

We always give the option to do or not to do off-road

Safaris here in Madeira is not to see wild animals often associated with safaris in Africa or a full day with off-road but we do some during our tours. Safari means passing through places/roads where it is not possible with normal vehicles (rental cars), minibus or bus. In recent years we have been adapting our tours to the development of many rural areas or even to what our customers are looking for and usually is just a tour away from the crowds and a different way to explore Madeira.

Madeira all year round

Summer is over.

We can say that we have good weather all year round because our location and our subtropical climate. we often find a different weather and the temperature may progressively decrease during our ascent to the mountains and usually we do not have a big difference from sea level to the highest mountains. 3º Pico do Areeiro - 1818 meters 2º Pico da Torre - 1851 meters 1º Pico Ruivo - 1861 meters The weather conditions are always unrelated and we never know what we will find during our tours, however in normal conditions we will have good weather - IPMA Join us on a jeep safari tour and enjoy this diversity - Always Madeira 4x4 one of the things to do in Funchal
