Water is one of the many treasures that Madeira has

Given our orography and the whole island being mountainous, especially above 800 meters high we have a lot of moisture, moisture that is retained by trees and vegetation. In this photo we can see the heather tree, which is able to retain large amounts of water even without raining, only if it is foggy and is one of the reasons why Madeira is very green and have a lot of flowers growing naturally in our mountains.
